Our History
Vermont Cabinetry, Incorporated was founded in 1976. From small beginings in Blue Island Illinois, the two man shop supplied cabinets and counter-tops to builders doing remodeling and building in the neighborhood.
In 1983, the business took on a new vision of building cabinets. With the introduction of new technologies into the business and computer design programs, designers took cabinets to a new level. The small business in Blue Inland grew to 20,000 square feet including a 2,000 square foot show room, and more craftsman were hired to create the finished cabinets. Cabinet design from 1983 to the present has been crafted on the computer working with the customer’s vision. It was a long time ago that customers started to come into Vermont Cabinetry to sit down with a designer to discuss their vision for their cabinets. We can provide you with experienced cabinet designers, interior designers, architects, project managers, and tradesman to guide you through your remodeling and building.
Even though the business has grown, one thing has never changed, our focus on you the customer. In addition to kitchen and bath rooms we also build entrainment rooms, libraries, bars, and offices.
