Q: What type of services do you offer?

A: We specialize in custom residential kitchen and bath designs. But we also have the experience to custom design commercial space, offices, libraries, entrainment rooms, and bars. Vermont Cabinetry can design your space, demolition, and installation.

Q; Where do I begin?

A: Whether you are building a new home or remolding a room, start with a plan. A sit down meeting in Vermont Cabinetry’s showroom or your home is the starting place to understand your needs and wants from the space you are creating. What do you want to accomplish in the new space? What appliances are you thinking about, what are the sizes of the appliances, will the space allow it…these are just a few of the questions to start thinking about. Remember: design, design, design, and plan, plan, plan to achieve the vision of your dream space.

Q: What materials and construction do you use?

A: We use the finest quality woods and a frame type construction for your project. We custom design your piece using the best technology and craftsmanship to ensure years of quality and durability.

Q: What types of wood are available?

A: We offer Oak, Maple, Birch, Alder, Cherry, Hickory, Pine, Bamboo, and Exotics

Q: What stains and other finishes to you offer?

A: We have many stains to choose from, we can custom make stains for you or we can offer standard stains. There are many finishes to offer, glaze, burn thought, distressed, matte, and gloss. Finishes are varnish and non-yellowing.

Q: Could you just give me a ballpark figure?

A: There are many factors that account for pricing that it is difficult to give a ballpark figure. But with decades of experience based on your ideas we can give you an idea of a cost.

Q: What areas do you work in?

A: We make and install cabinets throughout the Chicagoland area and Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. In addition to summer homes in Florida and elsewhere.
